Love Your Home - Life Style Blog from Pacific Home Furniture
Fall is a favorite time of year for Pacific Home Furniture. Is it one of your favorites?
The changing of seasons has a way of inspiring us to decorate our home in a new and fresh way. Can I share with you ideas to transition your home with the colors, textures and décor of the autumn season?
Let's get started outside. Keep in mind when decorating your front door or porch you can add natural elements not just pumpkins. Look for autumn branches to tuck away in your planters. Mums, asters, kale, pansies and marigold are just a few fall flowers you can use in containers. The choices and combinations are endless.
You may not have a turquoise door, but you can see how it can still be used with the pop of orange from the pumpkins, the white porch, white planters, flowers and the changing foliage.
Lanterns are an easy way to bring fabulous fall decor to the outdoors. Mixed in with the rattan pumpkins the lanterns add instant glam to this stone pathway and rustic gate door. Doesn't this image speak of warmth and welcoming?
The changing of seasons can demand a new paint scheme. When using the bold color of orange or a color in the orange family, tone it down with browns, deep reds and creams.
What is it we really look forward to each fall season? Do you love pillows, throws, poufs, blankets and rugs? These are the things that make a house cozy, warm and inviting.
